The Well Field is Portland’s back-up drinking water supply.  The businesses located directly above this area need to be more cautious than usual about handling liquids and solids that could contaminate our drinking water.

The Well Field Program has been set up to make it as easy as possible for businesses to comply with minimal cost.  This workshop will give you assistance in understanding and following the regulations.

Your business falls under the Well Field requirements and is responsible for meeting regulations which include having procedures in place for storage and transfer of chemicals.

The workshop will include a presentation about how to comply with Well Field regulations, a lot of questions and answers with our experts, and suggestions for getting needed equipment at reduced prices.  Please join us, even if only to get a simple question answered.
