14th Annual CCA Golf Scramble

Jubitz has been taking care of customers in the Columbia Corridor for over 50 years providing one stop service for truckers, travelers and locals alike, including a 100-room hotel, fine restaurant, country western lounge, movie theater and much more.

The 14th Annual CCA Classic Golf Scramble will go into the record books as a resounding success.  The new venue, Riverside Golf & Country Club, was in great condition and the staff there did an outstanding job meeting our golfers needs.  The many hours of planning made the events go smoothly and the weather cooperated perfectly.

The Board of Directors and the Tournament Committee thank all the sponsors, golfers and volunteers for their contributions that went to support this biggest fundraiser of the year.   The golf committee has already debriefed and is making plans to make next year’s tournament even better.

Golf Committee chair Chuck Harrison reported at the awards dinner that Riverside Golf Course will again be the site for next year’s event.  He also announced that hole-in one sponsor Northside Ford has already committed to sponsoring next year’s hole-in-one with an even larger prize.  We appreciate Northside’s support going into 2006 and encourage and challenge other CCA members to make their commitment as soon as possible. If you’re likely to be a tournament sponsor, let us know now so we can offer your company more visibility and a greater bang for the buck between now and next year’s tournament.
